Description

In recent decades, the attention of the political class has increased at the international level on the issue of sustainability, which deals with the balance in economic, social and environmental results. Despite the above, there are still challenges that must be overcome. In the city of Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, which is characterized by a remarkable manufacturing industry derived from its proximity to the United States of America, a study is carried out to determine the relationship between economic, social and environmental sustainability through a quantitative study and three hypotheses. The results show a positive and strong relationship between economic and environmental sustainability; a positive and moderate relationship between economic and social sustainability; and a positive and strong relationship between social and environmental sustainability.
