Box 6125, Morgantown, WV, USA Analysis description: Potential differential methylation was analyzed by sex and age. Additionally, we analyzed whether there was potential differential methylation from shale gas development. These groupings were also used to determine if restriction sites were potentially under selection. Data description: Columns A is an unique identifier for individuals. Column B indicates the year the individual was banded or returned. Column C indicates the sex of the bird. M=male; F=female; U=Unknown. Hatch Year (HY) individuals cannot be sexed and thus have U sex status until they return as a breeding adult. Column D indicates the age of the bird when caught. An After Second Year (ASY) and Second Year (ST) aged bird was an adult. A Hatch Year (HY) bird was a nestling. Columns E and F indicate presence (1) or absence (0) of TerrGas and TerrRunoff. NA = the data is not available. Research article relationship: Data referenced in Tables 1 and 2, as well as Appendices 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. References: None.
