Description of this data

This set of supplementary data is related to the article “Blended Cross-tier Teacher Development: Designing Online Video-based Pragmatic Assessment.” It contains 1) survey data, 2) data collection methods, and 3) samples of edited video clips retrieved from Youtube links and deigned discourse completion tests. The participants’ interview content and reflection entries cannot be exposed to the public under the ethics guidelines of National Cheng Kung University Human Research Ethics Committee in Taiwan.

    This folder includes the raw survey data collected from teachers and students.

  • 2. Data collection methods
    Cite

    This folder includes all the survey items, interview questions, reflection guiding questions, and online discussion prompts.

  • 3. Sample video clips and DCT items
    Cite

    The participating teachers adopted these video clips from Youtube links when they were designing the online video-based pragmatic assessment items. The paper-based DCT items present the themes and scenarios similar to those in the designed online items.
