Coded Responses of 158 Filipino Pre-Service Science Teachers to the Sexual Health Survey and Sexual Health Practices Self-Efficiency Scale
Description
This data set include the Demographic Profile Survey gathered information on biological sex, age, field of specialization, sexual orientation, religion, and relationship status. The Sexual Health Survey (SHS) assessed knowledge on contraception, pregnancy prevention, sexual health communication, sexual behavior, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) using a 6-point Likert-type scale for 24 items (Eastman-Mueller et al., 2015). The Sexual Health Practices Self-Efficacy Scale (SHPSES) consisted of 20 items evaluating confidence in various sexual health practices across six subscales: Sexual Relationships, Sexual Health Care, Sexual Assault, Safer Sex, Sexual Equality/Diversity, and Abstinence (Koch et al., 2013).
