Title of program: HEATER Catalogue Id: ABSG_v1_0 Nature of problem The physical problem is to describe the propagation of a laser beam in a cylindrically symmetric, underdense plasma given the electron density, electron temperature, ionization number and characteristics of the incoming beam. The solution is to be calculated in a subroutine which can be used with 2D simulation codes such as CASTOR 2.
