Data S1 includes location and petrographic description of samples from the Pontiac Subprovince. Data S2 includes SIMS multiple sulfur isotope (33S, 34S, 36S) of pyrite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite from the Pontiac Subprovince metamorphic zones (biotite, garnet and staurolite). Data S2 includes LA-ICP-MS trace element analyses (including errors and detection limits) of pyrite and pyrrhotite from the Pontiac Subprovince (biotite, garnet, staurolite, sillimanite metamorphic zones).
