Description

The dataset comprises a continuous, one-year time-series record of daily outpatient visits at a provincial hospital located in Northern Vietnam. Covering the entire 2024 calendar year (a leap year), the dataset contains exactly 366 observations. It is provided as a flat, comma-separated values (.csv) file structured to ensure high interoperability with various computational and statistical software environments. The dataset consists of two primary variables: date: Represented in the international standard ISO 8601 format (YYYY-MM-DD). This variable denotes the specific day of the recorded observations, running continuously from 2024-01-01 to 2024-12-31 without any missing dates. visits: A non-negative integer variable indicating the total aggregated count of patients who registered for outpatient examination services on the corresponding date. A preliminary statistical overview of the dataset reveals substantial volatility and distinct temporal variations in patient volume. The daily number of visits ranges from a minimum of 22 (recorded on February 10, 2024, which coincides with the traditional Lunar New Year holiday) to a maximum of 1402 (recorded on May 2, 2024, immediately following a prolonged national holiday).
