Description

Table S1 Rock magnetic properties. Rock magnetic parameters include in-phase magnetic susceptibility and the corresponding phase angle expressed as the XON parameter, in-phase field- and frequency-dependent susceptibility and remanent magnetization. Table S2 Anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) data. In- and out-of-phase AMS data were measured with the KLY-5A. Additional parameters were calculated with Anisoft6. Table S3 Alternating field and thermal demagnetization. Paleomagnetic results derived from alternating field and thermal demagnetization experiments. Calculations were performed using Remasoft 3.0. Table S4 Hysteresis and FORC data. Magnetic hysteresis parameters and first-order reversal curve (FORC) data. FORCs were further processed with FORCinel v3.08 and Igor 9.0. Table S5 Temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility (k-T) parameters and Curie temperatures. Temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility (k-T) parameters, including heating and cooling in- and out-of-phase Curie temperatures. Data were processed using Cureval 8. Table S6 Mineral chemical data. Mineral chemical compositions obtained from electron microprobe analyses of Fe-Ti-oxides and associated phases.
