Description

The aim of this research is to understand which factors determine countries' choice of monetary policy frameworks. It adds to the already existing body of knowledge by including developing countries. The raw data was collected from publicly available sources, details of which can be seen in the file titled 'Variable List'. The variable list document gives the user further information on how the data has been transformed to generate the variables used in the analysis. As the paper undertakes cross-validation analysis, the datasets of all those splits have also been included. The files below should enable a user to replicate the results shown in the paper.
