Description

This dataset contains the absorbance values of FTIR spectra from archaeological bones of Boodie Cave from stratigraphic units 1-9 (Appendix A) and from samples of burnt eastern grey kangaroo femur, brown-stripe red snapper vertebrae, green turtle leg bones, and emu tibiotarsus diaphyses and epiphysis (Appendix B). It also contains the mineral absorbance index values for the heated reference bones (Appendix C) and temperature predictions of archaeological bones from Boodie Cave using mineral absorbance indices and PLSR models (Appendix D).
