Description

This database contains the results of 464 push tests on specimens with headed stud shear connectors welded within the ribs of profiled steel decking transverse to the supporting beams. Both trapezoidal (open trough) and re-entrant steel decks are included, with the studs either: through-deck welded, or welded directly to the steel flange with holes provided in the decking. The database can be used as a basis for structural reliability analyses, or the development of machine learning models for predicting the resistance of headed stud connectors used in composite steel and concrete construction.
