Description

The archived seismograms are obtained as part of the collaborations carried out through the participation of the main author, Eugen Oros as a representative from Romania in the EUROSEISMOS 2002-2007 project. The participation situation is highlighted in the following links: https://storing.ingv.it/es_web/Data/Collection.htm https://storing.ingv.it/es_web/Data/Collection.htm#ISS https://storing.ingv.it/es_web/Data/Collection.htm#Bull https://storing.ingv.it/es_web/Data/Collection.htm#Status The seismograms were used to re-evaluate the source parameters (location, magnitude) of the earthquake of January 16, 1916, the results obtained being published in the paper: Eugen Oros, D. Paulescu, Mihaela Popa (2008). The M6.4, 26th January, 1916 Earthquake under Review: New Data on the Seismicity of Fagaras Seismogenic Region (Romania). 31 st General Assembly of the European Seismological Commission ESC 2008 Hersonissos, Crete, Greece, 7-12 September 2008.
