Data for: Event-related potential and oscillatory cortical activities of artistic methodology in information visualization design in human–computer interface

- The dataset contains each participant's event-related potential research data and electroencephalography brain data analysis. In addition, it contains the answer accuracy of experiment questions. - The system contains two group files. Each group folder contains 26 participant files. Each participant folder contains one EEG file and one ERP file. The answer_summary_english_correct_formal_anonymity.xlsx contains all the subjective evaluation results and answer accuracy data in the folder. - Participant number was matched between folders and files. - SLCD_interface folder contains the example codes on importing data into Processing through XML format. If you want to create the line chart animation, you need to work with Adobe After Effects. The generative art algorithm needs to install the corresponding library in the Processing environment, but we have cited the relevant book in this paper(Bohnacker et al., 2012). The selected algorithms from Chapter P.2.3.1 of a generative design book (Bohnacker et al., 2012) had a clockwise animation for drawing a flower-like shape on a generative art interface design. Princeton Architectural Press New York. - We contain SLCD, IGAD, SGAD, and ILCD films as the example visual stimuli for passive visual oddball ERP paradigm, which helps future researchers to replicate our study. - cluster_erp_value_anonymity.xlsx file contains the clustered ERP data for correlation analysis.
