Description

This dataset comprises CIRS limb scans observations from 2015-2017. The CIRS_2015_Hydrocarbons.zip archive contains separate files for ethane and acetylene mixing ratios and their errors on pressure-latitude grids, with the first column of these grids giving pressure in bar. Error upper limits are obtained by calculating mixing ratio * exp (err_profile) from their respective grids and lower limits by mixing ratio / exp (err_profile). The file CIRS_2016-17_Temp_Hydrocarbons.zip contains data from individual limb scans observed in 2016 and 2017 with columns for pressure, temperature, altitude above the 1 bar level and mixing ratios for CH4, C2H6 and C2H2, with uncertainties for ethane and acetylene.

Steps to reproduce

The results were retrieved from Cassini Composite InfraRed Spectrometer (CIRS) observations of Saturn's middle atmosphere in limb viewing geometry. Full description of the analysis can be found in the accompanying publication.
