This repository provides the data and code necessary to reproduce the empirical results and figures presented in the associated article on policy suitability networks and green economic efficiency in Chinese cities. The contents of the repository are organized into two main components, corresponding to the network analysis and econometric analysis conducted in the study.

Steps to reproduce
Steps to reproduce Download and unzip all files in this repository. To reproduce the network figures (Figures 1–5), open the file Network Construction and Plotting Code.ipynb in a Python environment (e.g., Jupyter Notebook) and run all cells sequentially. To reproduce the econometric results reported in the tables, open Stata and load the dataset data.dta. Run the Stata do-file do.do, which executes all baseline regressions, robustness checks, and additional analyses used in the article. The outputs generated by the Python notebook and the Stata do-file correspond directly to the figures and tables reported in the associated manuscript.
