Description

This dataset contains time-domain and frequency-domain vibration signal produced by simulation model of a large flexible rotor (a tube roll, typically used in paper machines). Simulation runs are conducted for 9 seconds with a sampling rate of 2000 Hz. It contains 52266 samples, in which the speed is varied from 4 Hz to 18 Hz, and the horizontal foundation stiffness is varied between 2.04 MN/m and 18.32 MN/m. Each sample represents the horizontal or vertical center-point movement in the specified location of the rotor. In frequency- domain response signal amplitudes are up to 25 Hz , as the critical speed varies from 9 Hz to 21 Hz. For more details please see *.docx below. “Rotor_tuberoll_TD_SIM_dataset.csv” contains time-domain response of the rotor, CSV file consists of 18005 columns and 52266 rows (samples): -column 1 rotational speed [Hz] -column 2 horizontal foundations stiffness [MN/m] -column 3 node 2 (left bearing), node 13 (middle of the rotor), 24 (right bearing) -column 4 direction, 0 – horizontal, 1 – vertical -columns 5:18005 horizontal or vertical center-point movement in specified location [m] “Rotor_tuberoll_FD_SIM_dataset.csv” contains frequency-domain response of the rotor, CSV file consists of 414 columns and 52266 rows (samples): -column 1 rotational speed [Hz] -column 2 horizontal foundations stiffness [MN/m] -column 3 node 2 (left bearing), node 13 (middle of the rotor), 24 (right bearing) -column 4 direction, 0 – horizontal, 1 – vertical -columns 5:414 signal magnitudes at specified frequencies (0-25 Hz)
