Description

Land is one of the most important natural resources that facilitates the physical basis of many different types of activities and natural processes, such as housing, agriculture, and recreation. Each type of land and each piece is suitable for certain types of uses depending on its abilities and potential and suitability for different uses. The method and type of usage decision should be checked for suitability for different purposes. Today, land resources are developed without exploiting the potential of the land, with optimal use of surrounding areas for cultivation, non-productive land, etc., and good fertile agricultural land for settlements, industry, and road construction. etc. has been eaten up. It turns into a degraded wasteland. The purpose of this study is to determine land suitability analysis using remote sensing and geographic information system (GIS) techniques (by evaluating parameters such as slope, topography, and land use/land cover).-standard. Decision rules are used to classify land for various purposes such as intensive agriculture, restoration of rain-fed agriculture, horticulture, pasture development, afforestation, and settlement. Capacity within the framework is a multi-criteria decision rule that also suggests the optimal use of each piece of land in Bilwala district.
