Description

Analysis of the effect of chain length on differential gene expression

Steps to reproduce

Structures of the chemical libraries will be computationally analyzed to determine longest alkane/perfluoroalkyl chain length. Global transcriptome log2 fold change profiles for treated cells will then be filtered to significant differentially expressed genes and quantitatively related to respective chain measures. Visualizations and statistical tests will evaluate presence of length-dependent behaviors in pathway-specific expression, providing comparative evidence relating extended moiety inclusion to escalating cellular perturbations toward adverse phenotypes.
