Description

The study hypothesized that honey bee pollination, in combination with fertilizer application, significantly improves the yield, seed quality, and oil content of niger seed (Guizotia abyssinica) compared to fertilizer alone or restricted pollination. Specifically, pollination was expected to play a more decisive role in reproductive success and oil accumulation than nutrient supplementation.
