This dataset contains high-resolution records generated from Early Pliocene marine sediments recovered at IODP Site U1587 during Expedition 397 (Iberian Margin). The data include calcareous nannofossil micropaleontological counts, terrigenous grain size distributions, and geochemical records, specifically Ca/Ti ratios and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) results derived from XRF core scanning. These records are used to reconstruct orbital-scale Reticulofenestra variability. This dataset is currently associated with a manuscript in preparation for submission to Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology
