Data for: Interferon-gamma Release Assay Performance in Northeastern Brazil: Influence of the IFNG+874 A>T Polymorphism

Published: 14 Jun 2018 | Version 1 | DOI: 10.17632/p2st2ndft6.1

Description of this data

The dataset describes the IFN-gamma in vitro production upon mycobacterial antigen and polyclonal (Phaseolus vulgaris hemmaglutinin, PHA) stimulation in a population of Mycobacterium tuberculosis-infected individuals (with either latent or active disease), as well as non-infected controls, for whom the IFNG+874 A/T polymorphism was genotyped. The study individuals were recruited in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Sex, age and ethnic background are provided, as well as the number of CD3-positive cells in the blood sample evaluated and background IFN-gamma production (without stimuli).
