The primary objective of generating this dataset is to explore the relationship between Chinese vocational college teachers' perceived sustainable leadership and their professional development. Specifically, it aims to investigate whether there are significant differences in the dimensions of perceived sustainable leadership and professional development among teachers of different genders and ranks. Furthermore, it seeks to examine whether the dimensions of perceived sustainable leadership significantly influence teachers' professional development

Steps to reproduce

Data collection for this study targeted full-time and part-time faculty members from higher vocational colleges in Shandong Province, China. The survey was disseminated online through the platform www.wjx.cn, during the period of September to October 2023. Participation was voluntary, with both full-time and part-time teachers contributing their insights. Following the collection phase, the data underwent analytical processing using SPSS software tools to explore the relationship between teachers’ perceptions of sustainable leadership and their professional development trajectories.
