Here we present a well-dated multi-proxy record of summer monsoon variability from the Rewalsar Lake, Northwest (NW) Himalaya, India based on grain size and isotope study indicating an intense monsoon phase during the Roman Warm Period (RWP) that enhanced economic growth in South Asia.

Steps to reproduce

This dataset was produced using sediment core from Rewalsar Lake, Mandi Himachal Pradesh. Further, Grain size analysis was done using laser particle size analysis, and isotope study was done using Elemental analyzer-IRMS.
