Description

The paleomagnetic data are used and discussed in the paper entitled "Paleomagnetic results of the Cretaceous chert from Zhongba, southern Tibet: New constraints on the India-Asia collision" by Shi-Xin Qin, Yong-Xiang Li*, Xiang-Hui Li, Bo Xu, and Hui Luo. The demagnetization results from the Zhongba section are summarized in Table S1 and Table S2. Table S1 contains the data of low temperature component (LTC) and component C1 of the two-component magnetization. Table S2 contains the high temperature component (HTC) data. The late Cretaceous to Paleogene paleopoles of the Tethyan Himalaya (TH) are compiled in Table S3. These data are used to construct the apparent polar wander path (APWP) of the TH.
