This data presents MATLAB scripts and data in order to reproduce the figures and videos obtained for the article "Motion and clustering of bonded particles in narrow solid-liquid fluidized beds"

Steps to reproduce

These data present figures, tables, and movies to reproduce the results in "Motion and clustering of bonded particles in narrow solid-liquid fluidized beds". The Experimental Processing folder contains data for the experiment consisted of 200 Trios and superficial velocity of 0,137m/s, inside this folder it is also found the Matlab scripts to determine the size of plugs, celerities, and the evolution of the heigh of the granular bed. The Numerical Post-Processing folder contains data for the granular motion from the numerical simulations consisted of 200 Trios and superficial velocity of 0,137m/s, inside this folder it is also found the Matlab scripts to determine the evolution of the granular bed, the particle trajectories, and the RMS values of the velocity. The figures folder shows all the results presented in "Motion and clustering of bonded particles in narrow solid-liquid fluidized beds" for both, article and supplementary material. The tracking folder contains all the scripts to detect and track the particles from the images, they also determine the granular temperature. Data_bonded.ods presents the comparisons between experiments and numerical simulations for all the cases studied. The .avi files present the videos for the cases detailed in their names in a rate 0,1x the real-time. The .mov file presents the video for the experiment consisted of 200 Trios and superficial velocity of 0,137m/s for 5 min at 60Hz.
