Description

AtALA1 homologous proteins of different plant orders

Files

Steps to reproduce

These proteins were obtained via NCBI blastp (protein-protein Blast) using the amino acid sequence of AtALA1, and the protein with the highest percentage identity in every plant species was selected for cluster analysis. The sequences aligned and phylogenetic analyses were conducted using the MEGA 7, the sequences aligned were conducted by its ClustalW (see parameters in Reviewer Fig 2A, gap opening penalty and gap extension penalty were 10 and 0.1 for pair alignment, and 10 and 0.2 for multiple alignment; gap separation distance, 4; delay divergent Cutoff, 30%). Then, phylogenetic analyses were conducted via Neighbor-joining methods (see parameters in Reviewer Fig 2B, No. of bootstrap replications, 1000; amino acid substitution type, Poisson model; uniform rates, complete deletion; site coverage Cutoff, 95%).
