Research data for article tittled: Metagenomic Analysis Reveals Enhanced Biodiversity and Composting Efficiency of Lignocellulosic Waste by Thermoacidophilic Effective Microorganism (tEM)
Description
Dataset for Fig. 1 are provided on datasheet 1 - 4 (temperature, moisture content, pH and EC). These parameters show the differences in physiochemical changesduring composting (with or with thermoacidophilic effective microorganisms, tEM). Values are averages for at least 3 repeations and two replicates are provided for each dataset. Data set for Fig. 2 (compost microbial diversity at phylum level) is provided on datasheet 5 and Fig. 3 (compost diversity of Firmicutes genera) on datasheet 6. These metagenomic datasets indicate changes in the dominant microbial (bacteria) community structure during composting. Data set for Fig. 4 (gradation of compost particles (a - d) and bulk density (e)) is provided datasheet 7. The rate of physical changes in the granular particles of compost is a direct indicator of composting rate. Datasets for Table 2, are shown on datasheet 8 (Total organic carbon, total nitrogen, available phosphate, and Carbon to nitrogen ratio (C/N)). Changes in these mineral nutrients indicate the rate of mineralization during composting.
