Description

The data presented below correspond to the chemical and physical properties of soils sampled in the Falkland Islands archipelago. These data are part of the PhD thesis of the first author (Fernandes, Antonio Costa Pereira). Seabirds, particularly penguins, significantly influence soil development through the transfer of marine-derived nutrients to terrestrial environments. This study assessed the impact of ornithogenic inputs on soil properties. The chemical and physical analyses were conducted following the soil analysis methods standards (Teixeira et al., 2017).
