Description

Vitamin D as a nutraceutical in combination with anti malarial drug Artesunate was analyzed to check the molecular and antiproliferative properties against breast cancer cell lines. Different assays were performed to analyse the apoptosis and autophagy in breast cancer lines using this synergy. The provided data is the raw data in triplicate form.

Steps to reproduce

Breast cancer is the most fatal disease in women worldwide. The reason for its spread is resistance toward the drugs and chemotherapy. To address this problem, we combine vitamin D with artesunate. Ic50 and synergy was determined by MTT assay. Then to elaborate its antiproliferative activity colony formation, live and dead cell assay and dapi staining was performed. To analyse autophagy acridine orange assay was performed. We also check this combination in Pi3k/Akt pathway, BCl2/ Bax pathway and Stat3 pathway to know about their protein expression.
