Description

The application of the psychological instrument (EAE-G) to the population of third-semester psychology students at to university in the city of Santiago of Cali, who are in the evening shift, allows for an analysis, obtaining quantitative results, revealing information that aims to determine the general stress in students. These findings make it possible to formulate recommendations for academic and psychological interventions that promote the integral well-being of students.

A. Participants The sample used for the application of the proof EAE-G It was composed of students from a university in the city of Cali taking the third semester of the psychology degree at night during the 2025-2021 academic period, where a total of 37 students participated, including women and men. B. Time of observation/ Application The survey was explained by the students of the course Measurement and evaluation of basic and complex psychological processes, from the academic period 2025-1 to the students who were selected for the study. Approximately each student took between 20 and 25 minutes between the dissemination of test instructions, signing of informed consent, and completion of the test. C. Material/tasks/instruments As instrument for obtain the results, HE used the proof EAE (Scale of appreciation of the stress) of JL Fernandez Seara and M. Mielgo Robles (1996). Name: EAE-G. Scale general of stress. Author: JL Fernandez Seara and M. Honeydew Oaks (1996). Application: individual and collective. Scope of application: teenagers and adults with ages from 18 to 60 years old Duration: variable, of 20 to 30 minutes Purpose: to see the incidence of the different stressful events that have taken place throughout the life cycle of each subject.
