Description

The present database consists of generating a database in order to evaluate the spatio-temporal variations in hydrological and physicochemical conditions in six monitoring sites within the Agiabampo-Fuerte-Bacorehuis lagoon system using a multiparametric probe. The site proposed in this study is located in a marine terrestrial transition zone that directly receives runoff from a natural channel that also functions as an agricultural drain.

Steps to reproduce

For the reproduction of the following databases, two multiparametric probes were used, in order to evaluate the hydrological and physicochemical variations on a special and temporal scale (Data set of in-situ water measurements of physicochemical parameters within the coastal lagoon from Bahía de Agiabampo, Sonora, Mexico), for this the YSI EXO3 sensor was used, which was programmed to take a reading every second in order to carry out a detailed monitoring in the entire water column of each sampling point. In the case of continuous monitoring (Data set of continuous measurements of physicochemical parameters of the water in the La Uva estuary near Agiabampo, Sonora, Mexico), two low-cost multiparametric probes were used, which were continuously monitoring for a period of time. 8-month period with some period of data inconsistency. Additionally, all data were analyzed using MATLAB version 2016b mathematical software (The Mathworks Inc., Natick, MA, USA).
