Western Uganda was divided into five rainfall regions in Diem et al. (2019), and daily rainfall totals for those regions are provided here. The data include unadjusted and adjusted versions of CHIRPS (Climate Hazards Group InfraRed Precipitation with Stations) and TAMSAT (Tropical Applications of Meteorology using SATellite and ground based observations) . Also included included is a geo-spatial file for the five rainfall regions. Diem, J. E., H. S. Sung, B. L. Konecky, M. W. Palace, J. Salerno, and J.
