Description

Collection of data sheets and catalogues containing specifications for various components used in TRNSYS, as well as as screenshots of the TRNSYS model in simulation studio and an appendix with detailed technical description of the system.

Steps to reproduce

The model input data files can be imported into TRNSYS17 in order to re-create the simulation model. Components that are non-standard and extended library must be installed in TRNSYS17 before importing to avoid failure. Components for which there are available input files should have these files connected to respective component (e.g. solar collector IAM file to ETC collector model). Guidelines for the sizing of DHW loads according to number of households can be used for calculations of the pipe flows, using additional information provided in the method section of article or in this repository. The detailed methods provides calculation sheets for sizing of pipes according to system flow, pipe heat loss calibration parameters and other information needed to control the model construction methodology.
