Steps to reproduce

Speed–accuracy instructions were manipulated between subjects: 80 participants in the accuracy condition (IDs 1–80) and 80 in the speed condition (IDs 101–180), 40 female and 40 male per group. Trial-level PsychoPy exports were concatenated, practice and no-response trials dropped, accuracy scored from type × trialResp.keys, and logRT = log(rt) computed. cleaned_data_for_behavioral_DDM.csv (18,808 trials) is the file for behavioural and drift-diffusion analyses; outliers were removed at |zscore_logRT| ≥ 2.5. Columns: gender, type (correct answer), Angular_difference (difficulty, degrees), trialResp.keys (raw key), response_accuracy (0/1, the DDM choice variable), rt (seconds), subj_idx (participant), logRT and zscore_logRT (log-scale RT for mixed models and trimming), condition. pes_dataset_accuracy.csv and pes_dataset_speed.csv are for post-error slowing (trial index included).
