Anti-BRAF V600E immunohistochemical stain is positive (B and D, immunohistochemical stain ×40 and ×400, respectively). Contrast that with spindle cell melanoma that is negative for anti-BRAF V600E immunohistochemical stain (E, H&E stain, ×400 and F, immunohistochemical stain, ×400).18
