SepF is the FtsZ anchor in archaea, with features of an ancestral cell division system
Description
SUPPORTING DATA: Data from the manuscript of Pende N, Sogues A, et al., "SepF is the FtsZ anchor in archaea, with features of an ancestral cell division system” 1-ALIGNMENTS/ Alignments used to reconstruct the FtsZ, FtsA and SepF phylogenies presented in the manuscript. For each protein, there are separate alignments for Bacteria and Archaea. For FtsZ and SepF there are also alignments that include both Bacteria and Archaea. 2-ALIGNMENTS_TRIMMED/ Trimmed version of the alignments in 1-ALIGNMENTS. 3- TREES/ Trees reconstructed from the alignments in 2-ALIGNMENTS_TRIMMED. For each tree, there is: 3.1-NEWICK/ The newick file (.treefile) 3.2-PDF_UNCOLLAPSED/ A corresponding figure in .pdf format. 3.3-PDF_COLLAPSED/ A corresponding figure in .pdf format, with monophyletic taxa corresponding to the same phylum collapsed. 4-CTDs/ FtsZ C-terminal domain alignments and WebLogos.
