Description

These maps were generated using the Multivariate and repeated measures toolbox v0.6 (McFarquhar et al., 2016, NeuroImage). They show parametrically modulated brain activitiy related to 1. amount magnitude and 2. delay length. 90 healthy participants were scanned three times with either increased, reduced or balanced tryptophan levels, resulting in 270 data sets, according to a within-subject design. Furthermore, participants were divided into 2 groups (S-allele, L/L homozygous) with respect to 5-HTTLPR. The maps provided here are averaged across tryptophan interventions and genotype groups to demonstrate the task effects. Data were analyzed using a permutation-based approach (Winkler et al., 2014, NeuroImage) where the threshold for the amount magnitude image was an uncorrected p < .001, and for the delay length image it was FWE corrected at cluster level (p < .05) with a cluster-forming threshold of p < .001. The multivariate statistic used was Wilk's Lambda.
