This is a dataset from a study assessing cognitive emotion regulation strategies in types of anxiety (Arousal and Apprehension) and depression (Valence and Anhedonic). Here, anxiety and depression are considered as dimensional personality types. 1632 participants from a representative sample completed the Anxiety and Depression Questionnaire and the Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire. We conducted regression analyses with the affetive types as predictors. We found that the cognitive emotion regulation strategies use is related to the structure and functions (reactive or regulative) in stimulation processing of the types.
