Description

In-depth literature search spanning from 1975 to 2023 to cover different production diseases in dairy cattle. Physiological systems evaluated: reproductive, mammary, metabolic, integumentary, immune, musculoskeletal, digestive, and respiratory. Original research in the English language. The searches specifically targeted documents published in peer-reviewed journals and written in English. The search process yielded a total of 3,349 records. These records underwent a two-stage filtering process, initially screening the titles and abstracts. From this initial screening, 505 articles were deemed relevant and were then imported into SAS 9.4, where additional analysis was conducted using SAS integrated with Python and the NLTK (Natural Language Toolkit) library for basic full-text analysis. The rigorous search and filtering process ensured that a comprehensive and representative set of articles was included in the study, providing a robust foundation for the meta-analysis and systematic review of the identified traits related to production diseases in dairy cows. The studies included in the data extraction process met specific criteria for inclusion.
