Two Meaning Pathways From Time Perspective to Posttraumatic Growth After Earthquakes

This dataset contains cross-sectional survey data from 317 adult survivors of the February 6, 2023 Kahramanmaraş earthquakes (Türkiye), most of whom experienced the earthquakes in Hatay province, one of the most severely affected regions. Data were collected approximately 21–22 months post-earthquake using the Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory, the Meaning in Life Questionnaire (presence of and search for meaning subscales), and the Posttraumatic Growth Inventory, along with demographic and earthquake-related exposure variables (e.g., loss, displacement, damage exposure). The dataset was used to test a parallel mediation model examining whether presence of and search for meaning in life account for the associations between time perspective dimensions (past-negative, past-positive, present-hedonistic, present-fatalistic, future) and posttraumatic growth, controlling for demographic and exposure-related covariates.
