Data for data-driven decision-making analysis
Description
This study describes data on data-driven decision-making that is introduced for the first time in an organization. Data were collected in semi-structured in-depth interviews and emails and are part of the ethnographic research conducted on the base of transportation organization in the North of the UK. This corpus of data was analyzed employing both inductive reasoning and quantitative sentiment analysis. The specificity of data is that interviews and emails played the role of a prolongation of participatory observations and ethnographic research. Data were collected during five months March 2019 – August 2019 pilot project on testing new data technology and introducing data to support decision-making. Five months of data provide an opportunity for micro-temporal dynamics analysis within pilot projects alike.
