3 simulations by the MarsWRF model are the basis of this research study. These include 2 simulations with a horizontal resolution of 2°×2°, which have "interactive" and "prescribed" dust parametrization, respectively. Moreover, there is 1 simulation at the extremely high horizontal resolution of 0.5°×0.5°. The comparison of the "interactive" and "prescribed" dust simulations allows for characterizing feedback between Mars dust and radiation. The comparison of simulations with 2°×2° and 0.5°×0.5° addresses questions related to the horizontal model resolution and quality of the Martian dust cycle simulation. A particular focus are the implications for the dynamics of Mars dust storms.
