Research work to include rare earth data in the PHREEQC thermodynamic model (Parkhurst and Appelo, 2013) has given birth to the wateqfREYsKinetics.dat database (Cravotta III, 2022). A new set of rare earth element association constants is incorporated into a modified version of the Cravotta database in a paper entitled “Estimation of the association constants of rare earth elements in aqueous solutions in STP conditions (t = 25 ◦C, P = 1 bar) from their electronegativities and polarizabilities” by Nezli and Bourrié (2026) in Chemical Geology https://doi.org/10.1016/j.chemgeo.2026.123333 . The new database is named: wateqfREYskineticsB.dat
