Description

In total, 240 students of the Lviv Polytechnic National University were surveyed. During the experiment, respondents recorded their responses using Google Forms survey tools. Students were given closed-response options of "yes," "no," or abstention. The results were analyzed using quantitative methods, which allowed the identification of the most important archetypal images associated with the symbol "Bayraktar." Through empirical means, employing an inductive method, hypothetical deductive assumptions about the role of archetypes in shaping modern symbols were confirmed. The statement of a scientific-technical nature, "Bayraktar is a powerful weapon," received the highest positive reactions during the survey (193 positive reactions, three negative, 44 neutral). Nevertheless, statistics on reactions to archetypal-mythological images related to drones among respondents were also notably high. Specifically, 183 students affirmed the connection of "Bayraktar" with the archetype of the element of air (25 negative reactions, 32 neutral); 141 students associated it with bird archetypes (36 negative reactions, 63 neutral); 126 students with eagle archetypes (51 negative reactions, 63 neutral); and 87 students with dragon archetypes (69 negative reactions, 84 neutral). This indicates that mythological-archetypal foundations continue to be a significant part of the subconscious level of contemporary human thought.
