This study examines the correlation between Red Cell Distribution Width (RDW) and hematologic and biochemical parameters across acute, subacute, and chronic disease phases. During the acute phase, RDW showed no significant correlation with D-Dimer levels. As the disease progressed, the correlation intensified, becoming mild in the subacute phase (r=0.276, p=0.028) and moderate in the chronic phase (r=0.438, p=0.006).
