Description

This dataset contains 178 high-resolution images of blueberry (Vaccinium spp.) plants collected to support Leaf Inclination Angle Distribution (LIAD) research. The imaged plants comprised of two half-high blueberry cultivars— ‘Are’, and ‘Northblue’ (V. corymbosum × V. angustifolium), and one highbush cultivar ‘Draper’ (V. corymbosum). All images were captured on September 05, 2025, at the Rohu experimental site of the Estonian University of Life Sciences (Tartu County, Estonia) with a Canon EOS 6D camera with automatic settings under natural sunlight conditions. As LIAD directly affects light interception and canopy performance, this dataset supports data-driven LIAD classification, phenotyping, and canopy structure assessment.
