James MarkusenDescription
This replication file includes all of the GAMS (.gms) files and their dump to EXCEL (.xlsx) files for the creation of the Figures and some Tables in the paper. If a viewer does not have GAMS, these files may be opened at TEXT (.txt) files for viewing the code. The only (real) data in the paper consists of five observations on market share of semi-conductor firms found in the file mkt shr data.xlsx with the url given there. All the other "data" in the EXCEL files are synthetic data generated by the GAMS simulation models.

Steps to reproduce
All "data" with the exception of a couple of semi-conductor observations are simulation outputs as I have already indicated twice. The GAMS models generate the "data" and these can be run to reproduce the results.
