Description

Accurate and reliable data on the burden of Rabies virus (RABV) can help to put in place better strategies to curb this burden in Africa among humans, dogs, and other animal species. To date, data synthesis on the epidemiology of Rabies virus (RABV) incidence and prevalence in the continent are lacking. Datasets included here consists of detailed information on the published studies on the prevalence based on of Rabies virus (RABV) among humans, dogs, and other animal species in Africa. The complete details of included studies and the reasons of those excluded is included in the dataset. We also have the database used for the meta-analysis and meta-regression.
