Description

Some economic, social, and environmental issues in Turkey from 1970 to 2020 were examined, as well as a demand estimation study for future electrical energy consumption. Gross energy consumption was used as an output variable, whereas GDP, electricity sales price, electrical energy import, population, and temperature were used as input variables. The Worldbank, Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation, Statista, TURKSTAT (Turkish Statistical Institute), and Turkish State Meteorological Service provided variable data for the country.
