Synthesis of almost stoichiometric nanosized cathode materials Li1-xNi1+xO2 by a combined method and study of their physical and electrochemical characteristics: Impedance spectroscopy

Description

Almost stoichiometric nanosized materials with the composition Li1-xNi1+xO2 were synthesized by the combined method. The following samples were prepared: Sample 4 - Li:Ni ratio 10:1, thermal treatment temperature T = 700C, treatment time t = 60 min, composition Li0.98Ni1.02О2; Sample 6 - Li:Ni ratio 10:1, thermal treatment temperature T = 700C, treatment time t = 30 min, composition Li0.79Ni1.21О2. The impedance was studied with a Solartron-1260 impedancemeter (AMETEK, Inc. (NYSE:AME), Solartron analytical, USA/UK) in the frequency range 0.1 – 10^7 Hz. Electrodes on the flat surface of the sample were created by magnetron sputtering of a thin layer of platinum. Then the sample with deposited electrodes can be considered as a flat capacitor.
